He seems to be one of those writer/directors working in the horror genre in the 1970's that gets overlooked in favour of the same old names, but his films are far more interesting than anything produced by Romero, Craven, or Hooper. Perhaps the worst casualty of this is Larry Cohen? The ...Well written review for a real gem of a film. The score really does makes this film so much more than it is on it's own. The death of Jamie Rose's character (Megan) is still one of the more awful deaths I've ever seen in a slasher film because we see so very little. The Twins corner her, one taking pictures of her with Daniel's camera as they advance. The viewer is left wondering Lee Russellhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01611679296214391643noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5751360814489146754.post-49425538349080327592012-03-19T06:28:29.104+00:002012-03-19T06:28:29.104+00:00Wonderfully written review, Shaun. This is a fine ...Wonderfully written review, Shaun. This is a fine little movie and it's on my Best Slasher list. Lieberman was definitely a talented guy. The MB 2 disc special edition has an exhaustive 60 minute doc on the making of the film, but is hampered by a washed out print and the films sole moments of gore which are missing from the beginning, but present in the old Paragon Video tape.

venoms5https://www.blogger.com/profile/13655919099947763891noreply@blogger.com
