Lobby Card Collection - The Good, The Bad and the Ugly (1966)

This months thrilling edition of the Lobby Card Collection completes Sergio Leone's trilogy of 'Dollars' film featuring Clint Eastwood as the nameless anti-hero. In comparison to previous instalments lobby card images for The Good, The Bad and the Ugly were relatively thin on the ground, but on my travels I still managed to find some interesting examples that were used to promote the film in French and Italian cinemas.

  1. Even though you said that that they were thin on the ground, there are still some interesting and Iconic Cards in the range! I especially like the IL CATTIVO (Eli Wallach) in the HangMan's noose Card. By the way hasn't AKA Rowdy Yates come far over the years?!

I liked that one too Feore - check out the FOR A FEW DOLLARS MORE Lobby Cards, there is an excellent one of Klaus. By the way, isn't it about time you got yourself a little profile photo?

  3. Nice to see Eli Wallach is very prominent in the promotional materials - as he should be, given it's largely his film (which Eastwood clearly realised!).

Such masterful cinema, although it's a pity the BD releases aren't really up to much. :(

  4. I don't have any of the 'Dollars' trilogy on BD, and from what you say, I don't tink I'll add them just yet. I do have ONCE UPON A TIME IN THE WEST and ...IN AMERICA on BD and they are very decent.
